This black-faced R-Value 15 Reflective Black Insulation has improved Tear Resistance and a Flame Spread of 0. Comparable in price to R-17, it has a slightly reduced r-value of 15 due to replacing one side of polyethylene backing and reflective foil with the alternative UV-resistant black facer.
